METHYLATED SPIRIT PRODUCTION

Methylated spirit is useful in hospitals, in homes (for treatment of wound, home accidents which is always found in first aid box), some barbing salon still prefer it to those aftershave as its not embellished with perfume or color, which could sometimes led to skin irritation. REQUIRED CHEMICALS: 1. 99.5% Ethanol or I.P.A .......14.07litre 2. Distilled water .................5.71litre 3. G.V (dye) .............very little (optional not required in surgical methylated spirit) PROCEDURE To get the quantity of 98% ethanol, follow the simple procedure: • measure 14.26litre of the ethanol inside a container • measure out 5.07litre of distilled water and • Dilute the ethanol with it, to have your desired product. NOTE: GV(dye) is usually added to methylated spirit to prevent being mistaken as water, so that somebody will not drink it, that is the reason why some methylated spirit are colored. PACKAGING Packaging is an essential aspect of your product, methylated spirit package should not be too excessive in design and color, a simple plastic material will do and a short printed description of the product with the product name, address etc. MARKETING Each and every individual can develop his/her marketing strategy, but the essential one is to locate those outlet within your neighborhood that make use of it, e.g. hospitals, salons, homes, schools etc. HOW TO GET ACTIVE INGEDIENT Chemicals materials are sold around in most of our common markets in Nigeria, for example in Lagos you could get them in Ojota, Super, Abule-egba, among other places, while in Abeokuta you can get them in sapon market, adatan market, in Ibadan. Estimates • To get ethanol of 10litres just budget around ₦3000, it could be more or less • Water is readily available just look for a clean source then warm it to kill germs • A printer could help you print some product sticker which you can get at a reasonable price of around ₦2000-₦3000 depending on quantity and the numbers of colors. • The plastic can be gotten at the chemical store depending on the size of your production, or you can order directly from the company. MY BUSINESS WITH PROBLEM

This been the first post on this blog, it’s imperative we educate ourselves on the potential challenges that comes with being the boss , after all being the boss is better, So all that comes along shouldn’t count rather it the goal, the prize that matter. As you begin your business, problems begins to arrive even when uninvited they will come but its actually your job to come up with workable solution at every point in time, because fleeing from them or fault pointing will certainly get you nowhere, and just as the tree that produce the hardest wood is always that which has overcome the severest of weather, because you generate strength and confidence to the degree to which you find new solution to your ever increasing problems. Frank A. Clark will say “if you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere” the greater the test the glorier the testimony and the higher the trial the greater the triumph. Never pray for lighter burdens but for stronger backs. Problems are always guidelines, not stop signs for those that won’t stop half way. Remember that success is not measured by the height one attains, but by the obstacles that were overcome in there attainment. Blessedness comes not from problems, but by victory over problems.
